Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
Experience: 7 10+ years in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality Engineering.
Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer with strong experience in aluminum casting and machining to manage supplier quality, resolve production issues, and support new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality for casting and machined components.
- Drive APQP, PPAP, audits, CAPA, 8D, and corrective actions .
- Support NPD, launches, and production ramp-up.
- Improve supplier process capability, quality, and performance .
- Partner with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Provide hands-on shop-floor support and technical guidance.
Required Skills
- Aluminum HPDC / LPDC / Sand Casting
- Machining Processes
- APQP & PPAP
- Supplier Audits & Quality Management
- Root Cause Analysis / CAPA / 8D
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within and outside the U.S.
