JOB TITLE:

WEST Office Assistant

JOB PURPOSE:

The Office Assistant for Student Affairs/Wellness (WEST) will provide administrative, operational, and front-line support to ensure efficient delivery of employee and student wellness and success services. This position serves as one of the primary contact points for students, staff, and campus partners, coordinates office operations, manages confidential records and scheduling, and supports wellness and success initiatives that promote campus wellbeing and access to services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as the primary point of contact for daily operations including responding to in‑person, phone, and electronic inquiries; provides accurate information regarding wellness services, referrals, procedures, and resources while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity; helps manage schedules and calendar appointments; and provides overall logistical and administrative support.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

Tidying and organizing WEST space, assisting with planning of events and ordering materials, tracking attendance of programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED is required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Previous experience in customer service or related field.

WORK LOCATION:

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
