As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in South Burlington, VT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact for employees, visitors, and the community.

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or identifying security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances and common areas, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
