Job DescriptionCrescendo Care, LLC, is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to lead music therapy groups in a behavioral health setting on Sundays. The facility is located in Fremont, California.This role is ideal for a clinician who already has a primary source of income and is looking to supplement with a consistent, meaningful Sunday opportunity in behavioral health.Schedule:Sundays, approximately 9:30 AM – 5 PM5 inpatient psychiatric groups + documentation (consistent weekly schedule)Compensation:Flat rate of $60/hour, based on total time in the hospital, including set up, tear down and documentation time.Role Responsibilities:Facilitate music therapy groups within an inpatient psychiatric environmentAdapt interventions to meet a range of psychiatric and behavioral health needsCollaborate with interdisciplinary staff as neededMaintain professionalism and strong clinical presence in a structured settingStrong repertoire of a variety of music, with an ability to adapt in the momentAdditional Opportunities:There may be potential for additional contract work at other facilities.Requirements:MT-BC credential requiredInterest in or experience with psychiatric populationsStrong clinical judgment and group facilitation skillsProficiency in singing, guitar and keyboardIf you are not an MT-BC or are not currently pursuing board certification, please do not apply.
