Occupational Therapist (OT) – PRN / Part-Time | Assisted Living Facility Location: Ransomville, NY About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) on a PRN or part‑time basis to serve residents at an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and in the community in Ransomville, NY. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. What You’ll Do: Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence in daily living activities. Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions, including ADL/IADL training, cognitive rehabilitation, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support functional independence. What We’re Looking For: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and active OT license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain). NBCOT certification (required). Experience in geriatric, ALF, or long‑term care settings preferred. Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with a self‑directed schedule. Schedule & Compensation: PRN or part‑time hours — flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle. Competitive per‑visit or hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
