The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting. A current RN license is required. Certifications in BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA are necessary. Level 1 trauma experience is a must, with at least 2 years in such an environment. Experience in various surgical specialties including GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, and Microvascular cases is essential. The role involves working AM shifts from 08:45 to 17:15. Call shifts are required, with travelers expected to take 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week period. There may be floating to weekends based on unit needs, typically scheduled around 4-6 weekends in a 4-week schedule. Night shifts may also be required based on unit needs, with an average of 3 night shifts in a 4-week schedule. The Operating Room operates 24/7 with multiple active surgical rooms during the day. This role requires a flexible and dedicated approach to nursing in a dynamic environment.
