Position Highlights Position: Rehab Technician –Outpatient Physical Rehab Services Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday - Friday) Required Travel: No What You Will Do Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment. Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories. Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment. Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments. Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence. Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed. Coordinates therapists’ daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate What You Will Need Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
