Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Media, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with boiler room experience and a strong background in steam systems, building maintenance, and emergency repair support.

The Maintenance Technician will help keep critical facility systems operating safely and efficiently while supporting a collaborative maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who values steady work, supportive leadership, teamwork, and the ability to use a broad range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair skills in a stable environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, maintain, and operate steam systems, boilers, oil burners, valves, pumps, gauges, and related boiler room equipment.
- Monitor boiler water levels, regulate fuel and oil flow, record fuel usage, and ensure equipment is operating safely and properly.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and complete necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain the pump room and assigned facility areas while reporting malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns.
- Troubleshoot and repair general building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, doors, hardware, flooring, painting, and drywall.
- Assist technicians with complex repairs, diagnostic work, special projects, and general facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $22 to $24 per hour.
