Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances.Benefits:Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus an employee assistance program.Retirement Plans: 401(k).PTO & Paid Holidays - PTO accrual starting from day one of employment - 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked for the first year, 1.63 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked for years 2-9, and 2.39 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked for 10 or more years of service.Employee discountsReferral bonus programPay: $17.13 to $19 an hour DOEEssential Duties:Washes vehicle exterior; cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambsApplies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaceVacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debrisCleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devicesApplies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicalsCleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agentsApplies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendationsInspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operationRestores appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfacesUses touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materialsUses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protectionApplies dressing on tires and tire wellsReplaces missing or defective small partsMaintains showroom and stock vehiclesEnsures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's windowRemoves all window stickers on sold vehiclesKeeps work area neat and cleanOperates all tools and equipment in a safe mannerMarginal Duties:Being a team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentEffective communicatorDriving is an essential function of this position.
