Sterilization Technician - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00). No weekends or holidays.

The Sterilization Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. This role involves adherence to protocols and quality assurance measures to maintain a safe and efficient sterile processing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate sterilization equipment according to established guidelines.
• Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, assembled, and sterilized.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to avoid contamination.
• Document all sterilization processes and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on sterilization equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Previous experience in sterilization or similar role preferred.
• Valid state certification/license as applicable.
• Completion of any required training or courses related to sterile processing.
