Gastroenterology Division Attending - NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island Position: Gastroenterology Division Hospitalist Full Time Location: Mineola, Long Island, NY Position Overview NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is a 591‑bed university medical center for the NYU Long Island School of Medicine and a Level 1 Trauma Center. The GI Inpatient Consultation Service seeks a board‑certified Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care. Responsibilities Primary attending physician for the GI Inpatient Consultation Service Monday–Friday, 7:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. Supervises a team that includes a GI Fellow, a PA, rotating medical residents, and students. Handles all patient care for the service and collaborates with a second GI faculty attending to perform morning inpatient procedures. Performs general GI endoscopic procedures for inpatients. No night coverage Monday–Thursday; weekend coverage approximately 5–6 weekends per year. Qualifications Ideal candidates will have exemplary clinical skills, a strong interest in teaching, and experience in diagnostic and inpatient care. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required. Salary & Benefits Salary range $400,000–$500,000. The range is for full‑time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.
