Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently provide care within an acute care setting, primarily focusing on inpatient rehabilitation, orthopedic therapy, and medical-surgical floors. This position requires work in both mid-level critical care and rehabilitation units.

Job Details

• Job Shift: Negotiable, with possible hours between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, including options for 4-10 hour shifts and 5-8 hour shifts. Weekend coverage may be scheduled in advance.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Length of Assignment: November 16, 2026, through January 9, 2027, including rotations between two locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective physical therapy treatment primarily within an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Manage a caseload of patients, treating approximately 4 patients in the inpatient rehabilitation facility.
• Document patient progress and treatment conducted in a timely manner, ensuring completion within an 8-hour workday.
• Collaborate with a team of six physical therapists along with speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists.
• Contribute to weekend coverage if desired and mutually beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Certifications: Current BLS Certification is mandatory.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently without extensive supervision or training.
• Flexibility in treating patients across various units, including inpatient rehabilitation and orthopedic settings.
