Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume surgical unit performing an average of 25–35 cases per day
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and ENT
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci XI robotic systems, MAKO, Velys hip and knee systems, and hana bed
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in on-call rotation including one weekend per month (48-hour call), two first-call weekdays, and two second-call weekdays
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a board runner, holding nurse, surgical attendants, and anesthesia tech

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including weekend and weekday call shifts
• Must provide own scrubs per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly DaVinci XI systems
• Familiarity with orthopedic surgical procedures including total joint replacements
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation platform
