Lead Specialist Solution Engineer - Field Service - Health & Life Sciences

Overview Field Service Specialist Solution Engineer – responsible for envisioning and presenting innovative Salesforce solutions to elevate the field service management (FSM) market and drive customer success. Responsibilities Evangelize Salesforce Field Service and Scheduler value to customers, including C‑level executives, IT leaders, and field sales teams. Assess business and operational impact of technology adoption; deliver findings, pain‑point analyses, proposed solutions, and ROI. Configure and demonstrate visionary, tailored solutions that reflect each customer’s unique business. Discuss and propose solution architecture that includes mobility, scheduling, optimization, inventory management, back‑office integration, and workflow process definition. Work effectively in a matrix organization alongside Account Executives, Service SE leads, and implementation partners. Execute enablement activities such as webinars, best‑practice sharing, and knowledge sessions. Collaborate with Field Sales teams, Account Executives, and Product Management to establish credibility and trust with customers. Required Qualifications B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field. Deep functional understanding of field service operations and processes – work order management, scheduling, dispatch, mobile workforce, asset management. Previous experience as a Sales Engineer or Architect for a CRM, ERP, or EAM company, preferably within the FSM domain. Excellent presentation, client‑facing, and consulting skills. Hands‑on experience with application configuration of CRM/FSM solutions. Team‑player ability to solve technical problems in varied environments. Strong multi‑tasking, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven mindset with ownership of problems. Curiosity and energy to uncover true customer pain points and apply solutions creatively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Field Service (Lightning), Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud. Understanding of the broader Salesforce platform and product suite. Knowledge of field‑service management applications such as ClickSoftware, Microsoft Field Service, IFS, ServiceMax, Oracle TOA. Back‑office / ERP system experience – order management, asset management, warehouse management. Experience or interest in AI, AgentForce, automation, and machine learning use cases in field service (e.g., Voice‑to‑Form, AI‑Based Scheduling). Contact center or WFM solution experience – Amazon Connect, Genesys, Verint, NICE, Calabrio. Basic experience with HTML/CSS, web technologies, or integration/API concepts. Willingness to travel ( Salary Base salary range: $134,750 – $180,250 annually. Location‑specific ranges apply: in California & NewYork and select major U.S. metropolitan areas (Boston, Chicago, Seattle, WashingtonDC) the range is $148,190 – $198,170 per year.
