As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with professional communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable presence while working as part of a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, donors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, lobbies, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors while following post orders and healthcare location requirements.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel during medical-related incidents, disruptive behavior, and/or emergency situations by maintaining a professional presence and communicating with local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
