Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorAs a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and identifying any non-conforming products, ensuring that all items meet the predefined criteria before they move forward in the production process.Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed inspections using work instructions, checklists, and technical drawings as guidelines.Prioritize inspection tasks as directed by the Operations Supervisors to support efficient workflow and achieve departmental goals.Identify and document non-conforming products through Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure quality control.Verify that all NCRs are resolved before finalizing product inspections.Utilize precision and non-precision gauges, meters, and tools to assess product conformity against acceptance criteria.Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.Minimum of 1-year experience in quality processes and familiarity with Quality Management Systems is preferred.Experience in using precision measurement tools for metal fabrication is a plus.Proficiency in operating various precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with multiple departments.Familiarity with interpreting and applying Quality System/ISO procedures.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Adept at learning and operating a wide range of test and measurement equipment.Attention to detail and accuracy, with a solid understanding of math and geometry.Competency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel.Join us and contribute to a team dedicated to maintaining excellence in product quality and customer satisfaction.
