Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Kilgore, TX Service Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 10/01/2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM - Minimum 5 Shifts/Month

Patient Information Annual Volume: 14,500 Patients Per Day: Approximately 40 Admission Rate: 5.5% EMS Volume: 4% Case Mix: Freestanding Emergency Medicine

Facility Information ED Beds: 11 EMR: Epic Trauma Designation: None Backup: Telepsychiatry, Telehospitalist, CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Longview

Privileges & Compliance Credentialing: 6090 Days

Compensation & Benefits Rate: TBD Travel/Lodging/Malpractice: Covered

Required Procedures Independent Emergency Department Coverage Emergency Stabilization Emergency Medicine Procedures

Job Requirements Active Texas License ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM (2+ years ED experience for ABFM) EM or FM Residency BLS Required ATLS/ACLS per Board Status

Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate and treat emergency patients Document in Epic Coordinate transfers and consultations Work independently in a freestanding ED
