Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong candidates with CFY will be considered
• Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
• Understanding of a variety of disabilities affecting speech, language, voice, and fluency
• Ability to effectively manage an IEP caseload and work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine eligibility and drive intervention planning
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with a range of disabilities and communication challenges
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records, student progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt therapy techniques based on age and specific student needs

Schools served and age ranges are to be determined based on district assignment. Scheduling is set for 37.5 hours per week, with start and end dates to be finalized.
