About the Position

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician to step into a dynamic locum role covering both inpatient and outpatient services. This position offers a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your expertise will directly influence patient care across multiple sites.

The schedule is designed for flexibility: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, with clinic hours generally 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and on-call responsibilities as needed. You will manage complex patient cases, oversee chemotherapy management, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Telehealth coverage is also part of this innovative care model.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

• Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology

• Active Iowa medical license or IMLC participation

• Proven experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care

• Skilled in managing complex patient cases and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

• Clean malpractice and background check required

• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)

• Comfortable working across multiple locations with 1:1 nursing support
