QA Analyst

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a QA Analyst in Tempe, AZ.Summary:The QA Analyst is responsible for validating that software applications meet defined business, functional, and technical requirements before release. This role ensures that products are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose by executing structured testing, identifying defects, and enforcing quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:* QA Analyst will create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios* Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing* Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution* Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing* As a QA Analyst, you will provide clear, reproducible defect documentation* Enforce QA standards, test coverage, and release readiness criteriaRequirements* Minimum 4+ years of experience testing enterprise software solutions* Experience using API testing tools (i.e., Postman, REST clients)* Strong nice-to-have experience with SQL and data validation* Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps (or Atlassian Jira)* Good understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes* Solid understanding of different testing methodologies (i.e., black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, UAT)* Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as requiredJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $60
