• We are seeking a hands-on Wiring Technician to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses.
• This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

TOP 3 MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly – including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge).
• Tool proficiency – crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole).
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• J-STD-001 Certification or similar.
• Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.
• QA Testing Experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

·         Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA.

·         Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices.

·         Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage).

·         Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets.

·         Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.

·         Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams.

·         Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup.

·         May have to run test

·         Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions

·         Experience working with access control or cameras is a plus.

·         Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed.

·         Terminal experience means someone with Linux terminal experience, Mac terminal experience is also acceptable

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly.
• Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role).
• Need to be able to lift 25 and anything over 25 can be a assisted lift Max 50 lbs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Certified technician with experience in wiring harness assembly and low-voltage testing.
• Skilled in soldering, crimping, and routing wires.
• Comfortable working from technical documentation.
• Familiar with Cat 6, RJ45, and network cabling.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Available to work onsite and start within 2 weeks.
