Structural Analysis Engineer

  A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Structural Analysis Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract  
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Everett, WA -Onsite

As a  Structural Analysis Engineer, you will:

• Possess a solid understanding of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures.
• You will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life.
• The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability, and damage tolerance where applicable.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
• Support product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
• Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Any Advance Degree in STEM Classification (Technology, Engineering, Computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry).
• 5+ years related work experience in Aircraft Stress Analysis.
• Solid understanding of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures.
• Experience with airplane structure and other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.
• Experience with Structural Analysis/FEA tools like NASTRAN/PATRAN.

Preferred Qualification:

• Commercial Aircraft program experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:  $65/hr to $75/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
