Travel Surgical Technologist Operating Room jobs at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline in Corpus Christi, TX let you work in a hospital with a collaborative culture and advanced surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer, and stroke care. You will prepare operating rooms, maintain aseptic technique, assist with patient positioning, and support a variety of surgical procedures using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a surgical technology program, an active Texas Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or LVN/LPN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 3 years of recent operating room experience in a hospital or surgery center. Recommended skills include proficiency in scrubbing multiple specialty areas such as transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, and strong attention to detail with surgical instrumentation.
