Overview
Outpatient orthopedic clinic in Mission Viejo (by Mission Hospital) is looking for a full time licensed physical therapist assistants. Join our team of physical therapists and treating a diverse population of orthopedic patients primarily referred by orthopedic surgeons. Quality patient care is the focus of the clinic. Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care by administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Educate patients about treatment protocols, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively within the healthcare team.
• Implement specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Strong knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology, and physiology.
• Experience in outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with orthopedics and rehabilitation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
