Reliability Manager II

Ecolab is seeking a Reliability Manager II to support our plant operations team. As a Reliability Manager II, you will lead and develop a high-performing maintenance organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will partner closely with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure efficient use of labor and materials within budget.What’s in it For You:Opportunity to lead a critical function that directly impacts plant reliability and operational successExposure to cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and leadership teamsAbility to build and develop a strong maintenance team while driving process improvementsCompetitive compensation and benefits package with advancement opportunitiesWork in a safety-first, innovation-driven culture with a global industry leaderWhat You Will Do:Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to achieve plant performance goalsPlan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and productivityManage and optimize the maintenance labor budget and material spend to ensure cost-effective operationsDevelop and track maintenance budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to support operational targetsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance best practicesImplement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliabilityCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysisOversee contractors, consultants, and project work as required based on plant size and scopeAdapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource constraints and operational challengesServe as a subject matter resource for maintenance strategies, systems, and continuous improvement initiativesPosition Details (Location & Work Schedule):Location: Plant-based role (on-site)Work Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility to support plant operations, including off-hours as neededMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an industrial environmentMulti-trade maintenance background (mechanical, electrical, etc.)Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and maintenance operations effectivelyStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal guidance and make decisions aligned with business objectivesExpert in PLC programming, VFD systems, and Allen‑Bradley controls, with strong troubleshooting capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications:7+ years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial setting (Global Operations standard)5+ years of experience in an engineering or reliability discipline (for Reliability-focused roles)Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or predictive maintenance programsExperience managing large teams, contractors, and capital or maintenance projectsAnnual or Hourly Compensation RangeThe base salary range for this position is $120,500.00 - $180,700.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
