About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertions and manage PICC lines
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC line management
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic charting system
• Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills in an acute care setting
