Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic full-time contract position supporting students in a school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, you'll help children strengthen their communication abilities and make a tangible difference in their educational journey. Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active SLPA license or certification required
• Previous experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with therapy tools, documentation, and individualized education plans (IEPs) is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, and staff
• Enthusiastic about working with diverse caseloads and adapting to various student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Carry out individual and group speech-language therapy sessions under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in administering and recording informal assessments as part of student progress tracking
• Prepare and organize session materials to ensure engaging and effective therapy
• Communicate student performance and progress to team members and supervisors
• Support the implementation of individualized therapy goals and accommodations within the school environment
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
• Caseload specifics to be determined based on assignment and student needs
