Housing Specialist - 2623 - 2787/hr, DOE (Willmar)

Kandiyohi County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking a Housing Specialist Rental Assistance Programs.

Full-time position performs duties to determine household's eligibility and continued eligibility for rental assistance in the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Bring It Home Program or Bridges To Bridges Program. The position maintains the waiting list of prospective applicants for assistance, processes applications and determines eligibility, prepares Housing Assistance Payments contracts, conducts housing inspections, conducts annual or interim household eligibility re-certifications and works closely with landlords and tenants.

Wages: $26.23 - $27.87 starting hourly wage depending on experience plus full benefits.

Minimum high school diploma plus three years related work experience in government subsidized housing or other human services programs required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills needed. Applications accepted until the position is filled with first
