Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting issues related to performance and efficiency. Conduct routine maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire services, and brake inspections. Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components as needed. Utilize power tools and industrial equipment safely and effectively during repair processes. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed for customer reference. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's needs. Skills Proficient in diesel engine repair with hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues. Familiarity with electrical systems in diesel vehicles is highly desirable. Experience with forklift operation and safety protocols. Strong understanding of industrial equipment maintenance practices. Ability to effectively use power tools for various repair tasks. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their concerns. Knowledge of tire service techniques for heavy-duty vehicles is a plus. A proactive approach to learning new skills and staying updated on industry advancements.
