Senior Research Scientist

To support the innovative Search Research team, the full-time Senior Research Scientist will analyze complex problems, develop machine learning solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance Yahoo Search products. Key responsibilities: Formulate real-world problems into machine learning paradigms and design scalable solutions Code algorithms and identify opportunities to integrate machine learning into existing products Collaborate with engineering teams to implement research findings and communicate complex concepts effectively Required qualifications: 3+ years of industry experience with a proven impact Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field Expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing Advanced coding skills in languages such as Java, Scala, or Python Experience in collaborative research with a strong publication record
