We’re looking for a warm, dependable leader to join our team as a Preceptor, also referred to internally as a Client Experience Specialist for our  North East region- Elmhurst, Oak park, Bensenville and part of Chicago 

I established In-Home Caregivers because I am convinced that our seniors should LIVE OUT LOUD and find joy in every day, regardless of a chronic illness diagnosis. We specialize in helping older adults regain their strength, feel their best, and reclaim their independence within their own homes. Beyond supporting our clients, we provide families with essential peace of mind and mentor our caregivers to become dependable leaders. As we expand across seven distinct regions, I am searching for dedicated Preceptors who have a heart for service, a passion for coaching, and a desire for a career that genuinely warms their heart.  

What this role is about

The role of the professional homecare preceptor is unique and essential to the health outcomes of the client by creating predictable client experience for each new client as well as already existing clients within your assigned rejoin. You’ll help support caregivers, and step in when your team needs guidance or coverage. Because we care for clients with varying and sometimes complex health and mobility needs, Preceptors must be experienced, adaptable, and comfortable providing hands-on care in different home care situations.  You are not just filling shifts — you are helping create consistency, confidence, and stability for the people we serve and the people we employ.

• Full-time, Part time

• Assigned to a specific region/territory (See regions below)

• Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday

• Must be willing to take call, provide backup support, and help cover urgent team needs when needed

• Pay: $20-30 per hour

• On-boarding of new clients

• On-boarding of new staff to the clients 

• Fill in shifts in events of calls offs, no shows and emergencies.

• After hours administrative work- on call one week every 4-5 weeks to take calls after office hours and weekends

East Regions-  This include south suburbs: Orland park, new Lenox, Lockport, Hazel crest and surrounding areas

North Region- Naperville, Lombard, Oakbrook and surrounding areas

South Region- Shorewood, Joliet, Morris and surrounding areas

West Region- Yorkville, Oswego, Aurora, Montgomery and surrounding areas

Central Region- Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Darien, Westmont and surrounding area

North East- Elmhurst, Oak park, Chicago northside and surrounding areas

North West- St Charles, Batavia, Carol stream and surrounding areas.
