Tax Senior

Role Summary Our client, a well-established and highly profitable regional CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Senior to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities Perform diversified accounting, audit, and tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or partner Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and application of professional standards Prepare and index working papers in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Determine appropriate test-checking procedures and select transactions for audit testing Prepare complex tax returns, including returns related to dissolution or liquidation Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to firm leadership Draft client correspondence and management letter comments for partner review Supervise and mentor staff accountants and assistants, review their work, and provide guidance and feedback Required Qualifications 3–5 years of progressive public accounting experience, including audit and tax responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree in Accounting preferred) Completion of at least 40 hours of continuing professional education annually Active CPA license or actively pursuing licensure by passing the applicable state CPA exam If licensed, must be a member in good standing with the AICPA Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Compensation & Work Model Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience Large potential bonuses Overtime paid at time and one-half 5% employer contribution to 401(k) Full benefits package Hybrid work arrangement Relocation assistance available Direct hire opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr Twenty80 llc
