Cost Accountant Salary: $70,000 - 90,000 + bonus Location: Fort Lauderdale, 33309 Why This Opportunity Stands Out Report directly to the CFO, gaining strong executive exposure and influence Join a privately held, financially stable manufacturing company with decades of success Be part of a team where most employees have 5 - 30 years of tenure Hybrid schedule after onboarding (work from home Mondays & Fridays) Competitive compensation with bonus potential Robust benefits package including PPO/HSA medical plans and strong 401(k) contributions PTO starting at 17 days, increasing with tenure Key Responsibilities For The Cost Accountant Perform cost accounting and inventory analysis to support accurate financial reporting Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account adjustments Support month‑end close and contribute to process improvements Analyze WIP, production orders, and inventory activity across operations Prepare and review monthly operational and inventory reports Partner cross‑functionally to identify discrepancies and drive corrective actions Qualifications For The Cost Accountant 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
