Description Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT/R) Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00) Salary: $35-$40/hour Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT/R) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to pediatric clients. This role involves evaluating clients’ needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help clients achieve their functional goals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve clients' ability to perform daily activities. Provide therapeutic interventions in areas such as fine motor skills, self-care, sensory integration, and more. Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes. Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner. Educate clients and families on strategies to maintain progress and promote independence. Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development. Qualifications: Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Occupational Therapist (OT/R) license in Alabama or eligibility to obtain licensure. NBCOT certification preferred. Experience working with pediatric population. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
