• Roast big flavors- chicken, ribs, pork, brisket
• Batch cook in giant skillets- mac & cheese, chili, pasta
• Scramble eggs 40 lbs at a time

...and a variety of other hands-on kitchen tasks in a fast-paced, tasty environment!

Schedule:

- We operate 7 days a week and work to build a schedule that works for everyone. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay Type: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HACCP).

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members, providing service with a smile.

Oversee the preparation of menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.

Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).

Clean all work areas, equipment, and guest service areas on an ongoing basis.

Assist with the inventory of food products and developing order sheets.

Train, motivate, and oversee Cooks and culinary Team Members.

Set a good example each day by being a role model and leader in the kitchen.

Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.

Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.

Culinary knowledge and cooking experience required.

Culinary degree preferred, but not required.

Strong organizational skills required.

Experience delegating tasks and following up with Team Members.

Capacity to train and motivate others.

ServSAFE certification preferred, but not required.
