This role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling services, and coordinating care to support client recovery goals. Clinical Counseling & Treatment Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and treatment goals Utilize ASAM placement criteria and DSM diagnostic standards to support treatment planning Develop individualized, recovery-focused treatment plans Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide education, support, and coping strategies to clients Documentation & Compliance Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely according to regulatory standards Maintain confidential client records and electronic health records Enter required information into NJSAMS and electronic documentation systems Prepare discharge summaries and clinical reports Follow agency policies, state regulations, and best practice standards Care Coordination Provide case management services and referrals based on client needs Collaborate with healthcare providers, community resources, and treatment partners Support clients in accessing appropriate services and resources Participate in quality improvement activities Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Compassionate Detail-oriented Professional Organized Client-focused Collaborative Dedicated to recovery Qualifications Preferred Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Required Experience Three years of experience in the substance abuse treatment field preferred Experience working with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and behavioral health needs Preferred Licensure LAC LSW CADC LCSW LPC
