Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Description

This position is vital for our operational excellence transformation, supporting our growth from 5,000 to 8,000 units annually, and implementing a new ERP system from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the product engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and discipline.
• Develop and implement new strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Mentor and coach the engineering team, promoting professional growth and development.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize your expertise in industrial manufacturing and metal fabrication to guide team projects and initiatives.
• Oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Essential Skills

• 15-20+ years of experience in engineering management, with a strong in industrial manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in ERP systems, including implementation and management.
• Knowledge of bill of material structures and new product development.
• Proficiency in metal fabrication, including steel, aluminum, welding, forming, and assembly.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach a team.
• Experience with 3D design and CAD software.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in work truck, HVAC, electrical, or switchgear industries is a plus.
• Ability to develop and implement new engineering strategies.
• Strong sense of urgency and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $84.00/hr.
