This position manages candidates through the recruiting and hiring process while also actively identifying new ways to reach qualified candidates. The Recruiter will build relationships, develop candidate pipelines, and help ensure applicants receive consistent communication throughout the process.Schedule:Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.No rotating shiftsPaid holidays (no waiting period)Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off, starting day 1Work Environment:In office, Yorktown, VAPrimarily an office environment with travel to career fairs, recruiting events, and company locations as neededCollaborative team environment supporting multiple locations and hiring managersKey Job Duties:Managing candidates through the recruiting, interview, offer, and onboarding processCoordinating with hiring managers and maintaining consistent candidate communicationResponding to recruiting calls and candidate questionsMonitoring open positions and adjusting recruiting strategies when neededProactively sourcing candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, networking, and referralsDeveloping talent pipelines and maintaining relationships with qualified potential candidatesBuilding recruiting relationships with schools, workforce organizations, military programs, career centers, and other community resourcesAttending career fairs, recruiting events, and traveling to support difficult-to-fill locationsResearching local job markets and identifying new recruiting resourcesMaintaining accurate applicant tracking system records and tracking recruiting activity and resultsEnsuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment lawsRequirements:What We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferredPrevious recruiting or Human Resources experience preferredExperience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Paylocity, and recruiting platforms such as IndeedStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple openings, candidates, and deadlinesAbility to build professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting resourcesAbility to travel as needed and pass pre-employment screeningWho Does Well Here:Recruiters who enjoy connecting people with career opportunitiesSelf-starters who are comfortable actively searching for candidatesOrganized professionals who follow up and keep the hiring process movingStrong communicators who provide candidates with positive experiencesRecruiters who can adjust their approach when a position is difficult to fillTeam players who work well with hiring managers across multiple locationsIndividuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy variety in their dayWork Environment and Physical Demands:This role is primarily office-based and includes computer and telephone work throughout the dayThe position may require occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, and attendance at recruiting eventsTravel will be required for career fairs, company meetings, school visits, recruiting activities, and support in difficult-to-fill marketsAre you someone who enjoys helping people find meaningful careers?
