OR RN

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications and treatments as directed.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Schedule

The position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1930, plus call duties. This includes either one short call (1930-2300) or one long call (2300-0700) during each week, and one to two 24-hour weekend calls (Saturday or Sunday 0700-0700) per six-week schedule. All call duties are assigned on a fair and rotating basis.
