The Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee and other beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be a key member of our team, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide friendly and helpful assistance with menu items and recommendations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Learn and follow all recipes and preparation methods.
• Maintain knowledge of our coffee menu and offerings.
• Ensure beverages are prepared to the highest quality standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
• Workspace Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly.
• Other Duties:
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in team training and development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Skills:
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and equipment preferred.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
• Experience with coffee preparation and equipment a plus.
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Other:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
