Physicians Opportunity In Central Montana
Facility is seeking a BC/BE Functional Medicine Physician to join a newly launched Institute of Health Improvement and Longevity - Serve as a core member of an interdisciplinary foundational team focused on prevention, health optimization, and healthy longevity - Collaborate with geriatricians, functional medicine physicians, specialists, psychologists, physical therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and nurses - Perform detailed medical evaluations including lifestyle, environmental, nutritional, metabolic, and psychosocial assessments - Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based functional and precision medicine principles - Interpret advanced laboratory testing and incorporate findings into treatment plans - Provide longitudinal care with emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and sustainable lifestyle change - Prescribe medications, nutritional therapies, supplements, and other treatments as medically indicated - EMR: Epic - Experience with chronic inflammatory, autoimmune, metabolic, hormonal, or GI disorders preferred - Formal training or certification in Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, or Nutrition preferred - BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Preventive Medicine required - Nationally competitive guaranteed salary with productivity and performance bonuses - Generous sign-on and relocation bonus - 8 weeks paid time off (6 PTO + 2 CME) - Annual $5,000 CME and $1,000 licensure/dues allowance - 57% retirement match plus 457(b) program - Paid malpractice with tail; physician wellness programs
Community/Facility info: This health system has two campuses with 344 licensed acute care beds, a 124 bed nursing home and 12 bed residential Hospice. We serve an area of 15 counties with approximately 225,000 people. Facts about the health system: We are the largest hospital in Montana. Level II Trauma Center Mercy Flight air-transport is based out of our state-of-the art Emergency Department. Cancer Institute, opened in December 2005, houses CyberKnife, one of only a few in the nation and the only one in the entire state. Heart Institute State-of-the-art operating rooms and equipment. October 2009, a new patient tower opened which includes Women and Children's Services, Neonatology, Radiology and a Heart and Vascular Institute. This community has a population of just under 60,000.
