Jekyll & Hyde is seeking professional, personable, and sales-driven Servers to join our hospitality team. Our venue features two concepts under one roof: Jekyll, an elevated Mexican-Latin restaurant, and Hyde, an underground USDA Prime steakhouse.

Servers are responsible for delivering knowledgeable, attentive and polished service while creating a memorable experience for every guest. The ideal candidate communicates confidently, pays close attention to detail, and understands how to guide guests through a premium food and beverage experience.

• Welcome guests promptly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Explain the restaurant concept, menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily features.
• Guide guests through food, cocktail, wine, and spirit selections.
• Make thoughtful recommendations and use suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Confirm allergies, dietary restrictions, temperatures, modifications, and special requests.
• Communicate allergy concerns and order details clearly to management and the kitchen.
• Coordinate with bartenders, food runners, expos, and kitchen staff to maintain proper timing and course progression.
• Monitor tables throughout service and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Maintain table cleanliness by clearing unused items, replacing utensils, and resetting between courses.
• Ensure all food and beverages meet presentation and quality standards before serving.
• Follow up after each course and resolve concerns professionally.
• Process cash and credit-card payments accurately.
• Follow all alcohol-service laws, including checking identification when required.
• Maintain complete knowledge of current menu items, pricing, ingredients, promotions, and unavailable products.
• Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing side work.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations.
• Assist teammates during busy service periods.
• Follow all company policies, sanitation standards, and workplace-safety procedures.

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
• Upscale steakhouse or fine-dining experience is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of steak cuts, cooking temperatures, seafood, wine, cocktails, and spirits is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn detailed food and beverage menus.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and sales skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to accurately handle payments and operate a POS system.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
• Food-handler and responsible alcohol-service certifications may be required under local regulations.

• Ability to stand and move throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to safely carry plates, glassware, and serving trays.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hot plates, crowded service areas, and changing priorities.
