Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.We are seeking a talented civil engineer to join our team who will produce engineering documents for the site preparation, grading, drainage, roads, and paving for our facilities. This position will serve multiple roles with the goal of ensuring efficiently produced high quality civil engineering documents for our projects. The ideal candidate should be efficient, detail oriented, and able to keep track of multiple tasks with separate deadlines.This position will report to the Civil Engineering Manager. This position is located in our Downtown Houston office and is a Monday-Friday in-office position.Key Responsibilities:Develop calculations, quantities, reports, drawings, and specifications for the civil sitework scope of engineering of the project. Seal and sign the final civil engineering documents.Collaborate with and support other disciplines, subconsultants, project controls, project management, and othersPerform all functions within the civil engineering and design team as needed to create examples or meet deadlinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering2 to 5 years of relevant experienceSufficient experience and knowledge with oil, gas, and chemical facilities and preferably within an EPC companySkill in oral and written communicationSoftware Knowledge:AutoCADExperience using a graphically to-scale integrated hydrology and hydraulics site drainage software such as EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), or InfoDrainage.Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred but not required)Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
