Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required state license or proof of application if pending Certifications: ARRT certification required Must-Have: State license ARRT certification Experience with Varian True Beams Experience with Aria Electronic medical record Minimal RTO Description: Must have experience administering radiation therapy treatments on Varian True Beam Linear Accelerators. Daily caseload ranges from 30 to 40 patients per day. Required skills include CBCT/kV/mV imaging and familiarity with dosimetry systems such as IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy. Experience with specialty treatments including Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, and Prophylactic Treatments is necessary. Specialty cancer experience should include Keloids and Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials. Documentation system proficiency is required, with a preference for experience in ARIA. First-time travelers are accepted. Smokers and nicotine users are not permitted. Expect to work some holidays. All travelers must comply with vaccine requirements as specified. RTO should be kept to a minimum, preferably with no requests for calendar week off during the assignment.
