In this high-impact role, you will support vital Medicaid services by maintaining and enhancing mission-critical production systems. [Responsibilities] - Collaborate with MMIS and MEDS teams to implement coding changes in Cobol and CA-ADS programs within IDMS databases. - Debug, unit test, and integrate code changes to ensure reliability and performance. - Support QA, User Acceptance, and External Testing by executing timely code adjustments. - Communicate clearly and effectively with development, operational, and QA staff. - Participate in on-call duties on a rotating schedule to ensure continuous system support. - Engage with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional technical solutions. [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 10 years' experience in mainframe environments. - Extensive background (10+ years) in MVS COBOL, IDMS, and CA-ADS programming. - Proficient with JCL (5+ years). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated adaptability, analytical thinking, and effective problem solving. - High school diploma and 10+ years of relevant computer systems development. [Preferred Skills] - Experience with Changeman, File-aid, Footprints, and SAS. - Direct experience with SC Medicaid systems.
