Reactor Operator

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a Nuclear Reactor Controller (Reactor Operator) for the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). Under limited supervision, this role ensures safe and efficient operation of HFIR and maintains qualification through training. The position reports to a HFIR Shift Supervisor within the HFIR Operations Section. It entails monitoring plant parameters, performing reactor-related tasks, supporting refueling and disassembly, and upholding DOE safety requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
