Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic) - Fort Sill, OK

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Fort Sill is a U.S. military installation located north of Lawton, Oklahoma, approximately 85 miles (136.8 km) southwest of Oklahoma City and 50 miles north of Wichita Falls, Texas, accessible via Interstate 44. The base spans nearly 94,000 acres.
Originally established during the Indian Wars, Fort Sill is recognized as a National Historical Landmark. It serves as the home of the United States Army Field Artillery School and hosts the Marine Corps' Field Artillery MOS school, the United States Army Air Defense Artillery School, the 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade, and the 75th Field Artillery Brigade. Additionally, it is one of four locations designated for Army Basic Combat Training and has been integral to every major American conflict since 1869.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive Diagnostic Radiology services, encompassing plain film radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography, neuroradiology, ultrasonography, MRI, and CT scans.
Advise on and oversee patient care and treatment plans.
Reassess incoming studies for patients transferred from Regional Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) to verify diagnostic accuracy.
Offer consultative services via phone or in-person visits to Regional MTFs.
Provide training in Diagnostic Radiology to fellow physicians and medical students.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must fulfill the educational and experiential criteria outlined below. Experience includes both paid and unpaid roles, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, social). All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited. Your resume should clearly detail your relevant experience; if qualifying through education, transcripts will be required as part of your application.Basic Requirements for Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic):
Degree: A Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by recognized bodies such as the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. For degrees from foreign medical schools, equivalency to accredited U.S. institutions must be demonstrated through permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination. Licensure: Candidates must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Graduate Training: Following the attainment of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, candidates must have completed at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in an accredited hospital or institution. Additional Qualifications: Residency Training: Applicants must have successfully completed the necessary accredited residency training in the relevant specialty (Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Radiation Oncology) and possess equivalent experience and training totaling at least four years.
