This clinic operates as part of a large health system and provides specialized hematology and oncology services to the regional adult patient population. The facility is structured to support coordinated oncologic care delivery within an on-site clinic setting. Clinical operations are designed to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care throughout the covered assignment period.

Gaston County, North Carolina offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including natural spaces such as Crowders Mountain State Park, the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, and the Schiele Museum of Natural History. The area features historic downtown districts across multiple cities, including Gastonia, Belmont, and Mount Holly, along with outdoor concert venues and literary events. Clinicians on assignment will find a consistent calendar of community gatherings and recreational opportunities throughout the year.

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology clinic coverage in North Carolina, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 12-15 patients per day. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions within a clinic setting affiliated with a large health system, with no call coverage required for this assignment. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
