Warehouse Operations Specialist
Candidates must be able to pass a physical to be conducted by client's local health services provider. They conduct the required screenings, including eyesight and hearing evaluations. After receiving the screening results, our client's team reviews them and conducts the on-site truck driving training and certification.
Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Specific job description includes operations in the areas of packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management.
Required experience: Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience with warehousing experience. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience operating a box truck (non-CDL) with 40 lbs. lift gate. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint). Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Able to work effectively in a team environment. Valid U.S. driver's license.
