Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform and process radiographic (including portable) and fluoroscopic radiology tests effectively and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.

Experience

Experience as a radiology technician is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic computer operational skills.
Physical strength to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients, as well as handling equipment and supplies.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with individuals who may be under physical or emotional stress.
Ability to hear verbal communications, read and interpret orders, and accurately document data.

License/Certification/Registration

Current certification as a Radiology Technician.
Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.

Position Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Perform radiological tests as scheduled or requested with appropriate skill and in a timely manner, with a working knowledge of all equipment.
Obtain images using the appropriate equipment and understand how to transfer images to PACS.
Document tests and procedures using a computer.
Assist with office functions, clinical tasks, and support anesthesia staff as needed.
Conduct pregnancy tests, EKGs, BSGs, and help with case cart checks and room turnovers.
Monitor radiology supplies and equipment certification, report malfunctions, and manage routine equipment maintenance.
Check the OR schedule daily and collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and Nurse Manager to provide necessary coverage.
Understand and apply aseptic techniques when performing tests during surgical procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of all records and information obtained during work activities.

Non-Essential Functions

Perform related and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Position Details

This position involves an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time between 6:15 AM and 7:00 AM. The work location is in City, State .
